White River by Tyrose
White River

“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.
I am haunted by waters.”
― Norman Maclean, A River Runs Through It and Other Stories

I recently moved outside of the city for work, and I noticed that the sky was clear. So I decided it would be a good night for some sky photography, perhaps get some beautiful starry skies. I walked down to the river, found a nice place to set up and snapped this photograph as a test picture for alignment. This was shot at ISO 12800 for around 5 seconds. When I saw this picture in the viewfinder I loved it! I've reduced some of the noise, but of course there is no way that I would be able to remove all of it. But I think that adds to the surreal effect.
